Staying & Eating at Brigadoon
Yes! One of the most exciting parts of the 2026 experience is that everyone can:
Stay overnight Saturday, August 29 in the same cabins campers use,
Share meals in the camp dining hall, and
Experience camp activities throughout the weekend
It’s a unique chance to experience Brigadoon the way kids and families do!
Being at Brigadoon, even for a short visit, lets you step into the magic of camp life. Staying in camper cabins, you’ll feel the calm of the surrounding woods, and whether nestled by the campfire or walking along the waterfront, there’s a sense of freedom and possibility. You can imagine the laughter, energy, and joy of discovery that fill the site during camp, along with the warmth of community that makes campers’ experience so special. By the end of your stay, you’ll understand why children leave with memories that last a lifetime.

Everyone who stays onsite will be able to settle in ahead of the swim, enjoy a shared Saturday meal, and take part in some light camp programming in the evening-nothing too late, but enough to connect with the space, the community, and the purpose behind the swim.
For swim day on Sunday, plan to be at our event location as early as:
6:00am for kayakers and volunteers, and
7:30am for swimmers
Plan your travel and accommodations accordingly.
All meals are the responsibility of each participant during the weekend. Brigadoon Village is a completely shellfish and nut-free facility. If you are bringing outside snacks, please, review all ingredients carefully before arrival.
Meals and snacks will be available to purchase in advance as part of a Brigadoon’s accommodation package or separately as outlined below. Please, note: Brigadoon does not have onsite payment terminals, so all meals must be booked in advance.

While we are taking a cautious approach, it is likely that additional space will become available.
Once you register as a swimmer, volunteer, or safety team kayaker for The BIG SWIM a link to book your Brigadoon accommodations and meals will be sent to you in your BIG SWIM registration confirmation email.
