A fun 45-day virtual challenge

The BIG BOOST CHALLENGE

Give back, get fit, achieve the extraordinary!

The GIVETOLIVE family is 2,000 + people strong including past event participants, volunteers, sponsors, event directors, committee members, Board members, and our charities. Regardless of where you live life has changed drastically over the last while. We need our safe zones and communities more than ever and we’re glad to count you among ours.

To help keep us connected, engaged, and motivated during these times we’ve created a free and fun 45-day virtual challenge called The BIG Boost Challenge. It incorporates the three pillars of GIVETOLIVE – fitness, giving, and achievement of the extraordinary. Hope you’ll join us!

During the 45 days, complete 10 tasks from each pillar category (for a total of 30 tasks). There’s 100+ to pick from so choose what works for you or challenges you the most. We’ve designed it with families in mind so get your entire household involved. As you complete your tasks share photos and videos with us.

How does it work?

It’s simple and free!

1. Register

2. Add your name to The BIG Boost online tracker

3. Choose your tasks – you don’t need to let us know which ones you plan to do, and yes, you can change your mind along the way

4. Join The BIG Boost Challenge Facebook forum to keep in touch and see how others are doing. This is where you’ll post your photos and videos to show us completing your tasks. Start by popping on to introduce yourself, how you are connected to GIVETOLIVE, and where you live.

5. On April 15 begin completing your tasks

6. As you complete the tasks:

• Share photos & videos of you completing the task on The BIG Boost Challenge Facebook forum to be eligible for weekly prizes
• Track your tasks by going to the online tracker and entering a “1” in your column beside that task
• Watch your tally build at the bottom as you make your way through the challenge

* Please only edit your own information.
* You can only choose any particular task once during the 45 days, once it’s complete move on to another one.

Rewards

Besides the pure satisfaction of completing the tasks, every Friday we’ll draw from the folks who have shared a video or photo that week in the Forum of them completing their tasks (no extra points for extra posts but we do encourage as much sharing as you’re comfortable with). Each week you’ll be entered for a chance to win a $100 credit to our online swag shop, Entripy where you can score some awesome GIVETOLIVE, BIG CHILL, BIG RIDE & SWIM BIG branded gear since we know you’ll be going through withdrawals;)

Special prizes will be awarded at the end for:

• Best photo/video – as voted on by the group
• Household, couple & individual that does the most challenges

Important Safety Note:

GIVETOLIVE is all about safety and this is no different. We respect the decisions of the Provincial, Federal governments, and Public Health and strongly encourage you to follow their advice. We have designed the challenge tasks with the rules of the day in mind. If the rules change or are different in your area we ask that you respect and obey all local government rules, directives, and restrictions. When we list “family” or small group activities we intend for these to only involve family members that live within your household. We are not encouraging inviting others over to join you.
