Hey friends and family of team four,
We had a great last two days in the saddle! Yesterday our team road 117km, with 100% of the possible riders completing the day! Today we road 124km also 100% riders competed! Todays ride was great! With some climbs and descents to mix it up!
Yesterday Mike was given a challenge on the climbs with our new teammate Tim! They sure kill those climbs!
We biked past New Mexico sights such as Nuclear bomb test sight 1945, long range missile sight, a rock shop, (selling only rocks), Tim chased a coyote, Ron ran over a tarantula, and we finished the day off with famous green chili cheeseburgers! (Becca and kent ate grilled cheese.
we are now on route to Roswell to view the UFO(alien) museum!
Tomorrow is day 12, when we arrive at our destination!

From the Biking Biz Website
About 40 bike riders from across Canada are currently in the middle of a 3,100-mile relay ride to this weekend’s LiveStrong Challenge in Austin.
Calling themselves Give to Live, the group crossed over to Port Angeles, Washington, from Vancouver on Oct. 12 as they began their 12-day bike tour to the heart of Texas.

This is Dano from Team #1 today. I got a chance to ride with Team #4 for the day. Great group of riders.
They rode like champs today on the climbs. But what amazed me the most was the fact that Mike Todd would charge a long climb at 27km per hour and then turn around and ride back down, only to charge the climb once again. He says he likes to do this to keep his legs warm.
Talk about ENERGY! The guy is unreal!
Even though I missed my teammates. Team#4 welcomed me in with open arms. Whole team was absolutely fantastic, and thanks guys for allowing me to lead you down the 8 mile descend in the dark tonight. Great communication by everyone!
Here is a shot of the gang top of Toiybe National Forest.
